A three-part series that shows how the penalty shoot-out transformed the greatest sporting tournament on the planet. The Long Walk is the inside story of triumph, disaster, and sudden death. We developed this documentary idea which was commissioned by FIFA. Replete with heroes, villains, psychology, and science; these are the sporting micro-dramas that enrapture and traumatize entire countries. The Long Walk takes a forensic look at one of the most fascinating and nerve-shredding situations in all of the sports. A combination of science, statistics, and psychology with the context and expertise provided by a series of brand-new interviews and original filming with players, coaches, writers, and sport scientists. We shot 45 interviews in 20 countries.

Documentary for Olympic Channel and NBC

For the photographer at the Olympic Games, the opportunity and responsibility to capture the iconic sporting moments is immense. Every photo position is fiercely fought for, with the prize being the chance to take that one iconic shot that will stand the test of time. Like the athlete, the photographer needs to be technically perfect and utterly focused. In some ways, they have as much at stake as the athletes themselves.

In this film, we followed three Press Photographers at the Rio 2016 Olympics, from Japan, the Netherlands and the UK. We also filmed experts from the major news photo agencies. At stake was that one perfect shot, including the 100m metres final – Usain Bolt’s last Olympic race.

With unrivalled access and filming positions, we were able to create a compelling

30-minute documentary that was aired on the Olympic Channel and NBC.

We have now produced four series of Caught On Dash Cam. Each series brings together the most spectacular, mind-boggling and downright bizarre car crashes, near misses and road incidents ever seen – all filmed from the CCTV cameras, phones, dash cams and mini-cams of motorists and pedestrians from across the planet. CODC looks at a truly international theme – driving. This is the world of driving through the windscreen.

Each show covers six topics based on different driving related themes examining everything and anything road related: cars, motorbikes, lorries, pedestrians, wildlife, passengers and all the rest. However, CODC isn’t just about spectacle – although it’s packed full of it. While we hope it entertains, it also informs and educates. So peppered throughout each segment are factoids, relevant to what is on screen, that will amuse, shock, entertain and inform in equal measure.

The show is distributed by Bossanova and is being broadcast in many territories including Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Sky in the UK.

Animal TV is an innovative new comedy series for CBBC, combining specially shot sketches with animal characters, archive and UGC to create “a TV channel run by animals, for animals. With a cast of talented (human) comedy performers, ATV uses a variety of innovative, low cost, high impact visual styles to create an engaging and hilarious cast of animal ‘presenters’ and ‘stars’, from low cost CGI, puppetry, live action and graphics to silly props, costumes and face-painting.

We developed the format with Jack Cheshire and Wade McElwain and were lucky enough to be commissioned by the BBC to produce 20 short form episodes. Tilly the company dogs body had a starring role and David built all the sets!

The series was broadcast on CBBC as well as the BBC’s online platforms.

12 part series for Olympic Channel

The Olympic Channel commissioned this series devised by Worldmark. They were looking for programming that would be relevant to millennials, so we pitched the concept of pairs of youtube gamers from around the world being challenged to try an Olympic sport for the first time. They are trained by Olympians and then take each other on at the end of each show. We filmed with Gamers and Olympians in Europe, Japan and Korea, producing 12 x 7min online series and 4 x half hour shows. Gamers tried out sports like fencing, curling, boxing and climbing, often with surprising results. The series is hosted on the Olympic Channel, YouTube and has been broadcast on NBC.

The HSBC ‘Road to Wimbledon’ pits the best under 14 tennis players in the country against each other on the iconic grass courts of the All England Tennis Club. In 2014, we followed the compelling journey of four young Indian players from Mumbai and Delhi to London SW19, as they took on the UK’s best on a surface and in a culture that represented the great unknown.

We produced 6 x 3-minute daily documentaries video blogs released after each days play on the Wimbledon website. We also produced a 26 minute TV documentary to be screened on Star TV and other channels.

We were once again a lucky charm as one of the Indian boys we were following went on to win in the singles and doubles.

“Living with Lions,” the riveting account of the British & Irish Lions’ 1997 tour of South Africa, has been heralded as one of the finest sports documentaries ever produced. Offering unparalleled access to the players and coaches, the film masterfully chronicles the team’s triumphant journey. It delves into the intricate process of uniting players from four competing rugby nations into a cohesive unit, poised for victory in a challenging environment against formidable opponents. The documentary captures the intensity, camaraderie, and strategic prowess that fuelled the Lions’ remarkable series win.

Leading rugby journalist Owen Slot has said that “No rugby film has ever told the story as well as Living with Lions.” Paul O’Connell has said “That video had a huge impact on me. It genuinely made me fall in love with rugby.”

35mm feature film starring Lucy Akhurst, Tom McCamus and Stephen Moyer (True Blood). Made a few years ago now, this was a low budget independent sci-fi film shot in the UK. We built most of the sets in a disused school block and put together a strong team to pull off the very distinctive look and feel. A Canadian co-production, distributed by Fireworks International and a festival award winner.
